Meet the Unless team
Unless is built by a team of experienced entrepreneurs, engineers, and customer success professionals who share a common mission: making AI safe and useful for regulated European enterprises. The company was founded by serial entrepreneurs and is led today by CEO Sander Nagtegaal and CTO Marcel Panse, supported by a leadership group with backgrounds in technology, finance, marketing, and enterprise sales.

Sander lives in Amsterdam and trains daily in martial arts, teaching a weekly kung fu class. Marcel, when not solving complex problems, enjoys rock climbing and spending time with his family. Ecesu is passionate about diversity in tech and loves reading with a cup of coffee. Martijn is described as a passionate, result-driven entrepreneur who helps companies scale rapidly.

Alexandre is based in Arnhem and enjoys landscape photography, hiking, and traveling. Gray was born in Pennsylvania, grew up in Cairo, Egypt, and now lives in Rotterdam. Outside of software, he spends his time bouldering and making music.
